Our Team
The Parliament
A group of owls is called a parliament, which is a fact we did check, and it’s as good a name as any for the small group of writers and editors who make Trivia Owl.
We’re the sort of people who follow a footnote for forty minutes and emerge with something nobody asked for. That instinct is the entire product.
What We Cover
Animals and nature, myths and legends, odd science, and general knowledge for anyone who likes their trivia with a raised eyebrow. We’re drawn to the surprising over the obvious — less “what’s the capital of France,” more “which sea creature punches with the force of a bullet.”
How a Question Leaves the Nest
We find something genuinely strange. We then do the least glamorous and most important part of the job: checking whether it’s true. Myths and animal facts are the two categories most polluted by confident nonsense, and we spend real time separating the two.
Once a fact survives that, we write it as a question, build wrong answers worth considering, and an editor reads it before it flies.
Wise Enough to Double-Check
Our whole brand is being the clever bird. That only works if we’re right. So we’re careful with the folklore, we’re careful with the animal statistics, and we’re especially careful with anything that sounds like it was designed to be shared.
Our Editorial Policy spells out how we source and verify.
